Payment Methods
At the booking office, we accept payment by Visa, Maestro and Mastercard cards, cheques, and of course cash. Our online booking service is powered by Worldpay. We regret that we cannot offer a telephone booking service.
Wheelchair Bookings
Wheelchair users pay the standard fare, with one carer travelling free. Space is limited, and advance booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment. Book online and select the wheelchair ticket option. If you have any special requirements please use the booking/tickets option on our contact us form or phone us on 01525 373888. See our accessibility page for more details.
Gifting
We are currently not offering Gift Vouchers while we review and re-design our offerings. However you are able to purchase "special tickets" that can given as a gift and used for travel on a future date. Please contact the Booking Office on an operating day.
We also offer Footplate Experience packages, which make an extra-special gift.
Using Gift Vouchers and Complimentary Tickets
Please note that gift vouchers and complimentary tickets cannot be redeemed online. They must be redeemed in person at the Page's Park booking office, either on the day you wish to travel or on an operating day in advance. Please note that money-off vouchers, complimentary tickets and other external promotions will not be available on gala days, character visit, or Santa Specials.
Gift Aid It
For customers who pay UK income or capital gains tax, and make a donation in respect of the train fare for themselves and their immediate family, that is at least 10% more than the normal price, the Gift Aid scheme operated by HM Revenue & Customs allows us to claim back 25% of the combined ticket price plus donation amount. The proceeds will support the work of our volunteers in maintaining and developing this unique railway.
Group Discount
During our main season (March to November), a 10% discount is available to groups of 4 or more paying passengers on timetabled trains – please book for up to 30 people using the special pages here. If the system will not allow you to book as many seats as you would like, it is probably because the train is already full – please try a different train.
Special rates apply for charter trains outside the public timetable.
Want to take more than one trip?
Tickets for a second or subsequent train ride on the same day are given a 50% reduction in lieu of a rover ticket. The 50% discount is only available when buying tickets at the booking office – either upon your arrival or subsequently on presentation of a full price ticket for that day – and is not available for online bookings.
Please note that money-off vouchers, complimentary tickets and other external promotions will not be available for Paw Patrol, Dinosaurs Day, Galas or in December.
